Having staggered back to a cold rainy London I feel compelled to write to thank you for letting us use Lou Capitani for 2 weeks. The setting is idyllic and the weather was perfect. It is a very relaxing place to unwind.
Thank you again, Iain

I just wanted to write you a short note to say how much we enjoyed our stay at Lou Capitani. What a great place! The whole family had a wonderful time and Alex was very helpful both with finding a babysitter and rescuing us when we locked ourselves out!

View of the Med from Lou Capitani
Lou Capitani is a typical Provençal stone 'Mas' set in the middle of the famous Mourvedre vineyards of the Bandol AOC wines not far from the coast. More than 200 years old, it was restructured in 1965 as a family home and a swimming pool was added in 1985. Completely renovated in 2004, it stands as the highest house on one of the tallest west-facing hills overlooking the Bandol 'vignobles' and the villages of Le Castellet and La Cadiere d'Azur.
With a private pine forest behind, the property enjoys cool mornings, even at the height of summer, and an eternity of amazing sunsets. It is in one of the most secluded spots at the heart of the Provence of Cezanne and Marcel Pagnol... and yet is only ten minutes from the sea.

A perfect holiday villa with its own pool, Lou Capitani is set in 2.5 acres on a hill in the midst of pines, olive trees and vineyards, with stupendous views south and west over unspoilt Bandol wine country and the Mediterranean.
Available year-round for weekly rentals. Please contact us to reserve your next vacation at Lou Capitani.
