The Lou Capitani pool and gardens
Whether sitting by the pool at midday, with the sound of the cigales from the pines, or in the patio for an evening meal, or in winter by a roaring log fire, many visitors have used the word 'paradise' to describe the atmosphere at Lou Capitani. Its secluded and rural setting certainly contribute to this, but so does the fact that it has long been a cared-for family home, and still is!
The views from the house and its aromatic garden are fabulous. With its pine forest to the east it enjoys welcome shade on summer mornings, while the valley and mountain ranges to the west provide stunning sunsets.
Its three double bedrooms, one childrens' room with two single beds and two living rooms all comfortably furnished make Lou Capitani the ideal villa for a relaxing holiday, away from it all, not far from the sea and well-equipped shopping centres and markets. The immediate surroundings of the house provide lovely outdoor spaces for playing boules, barbeques, drinks and even large feasts! In this 'paradise' there are no forbidden fruits - except the grapes on the vines surrounding the house which do not belong to the property!

Lou Capitani's terrace by the hedge
The garden is conceived of as a dry garden needing no water, so no watering is required in the flower beds. On the patio or terrace outside the kitchen, however, there are potted plants which do need watering in the morning or evening every other day.
